is currently a so far not very high profile petition for legalizing home schooling in Germany ( here ).
I must say that I am not particularly think that when the time much of it because I assume that this is a model that only better-off students from "educated" families to work, it allows the state to transfer more (financial) responsibility to the parents and further contributes to the income of parents of school performance children affected.
other hand, the proponents rave about the improved test scores of their children, better control of learning content (which is obviously not relevant for all home-schooling supporters), and better motivation of children to home course, less fear must have bullying.
What do you think? Should home schooling be legalized?
