I struggle with myself again

In my class there are always children who consider themselves not very good by the rules. I just finished a training course by Yamaha for their concept flute tones . This is actually a teaching concept to the class music with recorders. Some colleagues have already had good experiences, I want my class to perform well and therefore my views in more detail.

The whole concept is about a student directory with student CD, a teacher's book with a CD teacher (on additional items) and of course about flutes from Yamaha. The latter is of course not absolutely necessary, but the Yamaha plastic recorders are attractive, sound good and are even for a rental concept because they can be washed in the dishwasher. In addition, they are not expensive.

There are now four weeks ago since the enrollment of my little Erstklässer. It was very exciting four weeks, because it's my first first school year. As then, the classes, we sat together and tried to do that as "just." At the moment it looks as if I had an unusually large accumulation of "special" children in my class. We thought it was just. This makes it every day something more strenuous, but also interesting.

A girl knew well before the school had no rules and yet never do anything that she would not. Accordingly, they behaved / she behaves. Scream, throw himself on the floor to bugger off, beat, kick, curse for them on the agenda. Such measures have been launched and today was our first quiet day long.

A boy is completely disoriented, walked into the wrong classes, has hidden at the beginning of time and given me so the worst two hours of my life. Meanwhile, he has settled in well, was a little more relaxed, laughing sometimes, and I know who he has to run behind, so he is not lost.

My twins wanted do absolutely nothing at the beginning and have been - where it went - down to work. Slowly, they also begin to really engage in school and what to do.

My boys were initially a totally wild rascals. Everything had to learn it. That the classroom is not a Tobe room that you have to be careful with the other children, so no one hurts, that hitting okay no no case. But even here, has now done so much. Every morning I'm attached to the daily schedule. Today I was momentarily distracted and then began the children themselves, the hang everything. They put together a fairly complete school day, so that we could just do it.

Since we work in math is now fully open, gets each child individual homework workbook. At first I agreed with every child with the homework, since children come to me with suggestions. Ask is: "Can I do it for homework?" I find great, they prefer to do this and see it as a privilege. * Gg *
